Formal Training & Experience:
BBA (BCom) SFU '84; CFID BC Central CU '92 -- Mark has taught at SFU and UBC for over twenty years. His business specializations are technology and finance. Mark brings extensive experience to his professional practice, having acted as a Credit Union director (Westminster Savings) for six years and managed a number of small businesses. Large Credit Unions fund a major portion of the local mortgate markets and keep themselves closely tuned to the region's Real Estate conditions. Having served directly on the commerical lending function with Westminster Savings, Mark has first hand knowledge relating to land development, major project financing and complex appraisals. On the personal side, Mark and his wife have been buying and selling property personally for over 20 years - having moved through Condominiums, Bare Land purchases and single family Detached Housing.
Interests/Hobbies:
Mr. Hayward is an active pilot - holding a variety of ratings - including multi-engine complex aircraft. He has extensive experience of the entire Pacific North West, with a bird's eye view of major urban markets.
